Which travel document can you use?
An EU pet passport
A valid EU passport can be accepted for entry into Great Britain from France. It does not have to have been issued before 2021. The entries must be correctly completed and the cat must meet the other entry conditions. Check the official passport guidance.

What to confirm with your vet
Ask the vet to check your cat's identification, vaccination record and document entries against the itinerary. Explain if the journey originally began outside the EU. Your cat does not need the dog-specific tapeworm treatment for GB entry.
Take the original documents and keep them accessible. A carrier booking does not establish that the paperwork is valid.
Prepare the carrier and collection
Use a secure carrier and tell the transporter its size. Discuss loading before collection, particularly if you also have suitcases or other passengers. Ask your vet about health or anxiety concerns specific to your cat.
