At the terminal
Follow the arrival time and pet-check instructions given by the operator. Keep original documents accessible and follow staff directions for your booking. Avoid relying on another traveller's account of where every check will happen.
During the crossing and afterwards
Your pet travels in the vehicle. Keep it secure and follow the operator's instructions. Once you continue by road, account for your pet's needs and the remaining distance rather than treating the end of the crossing as the end of the journey.
